Paros
Páros is one of the Cyclades islands offering beaches, small villages, churches and less tourists than Mikonos or the neighbouring Naxos. Main town Parikia is where all ferries dock and although the sight of the many hotels and booking offices may not be all that inviting, behind the commercial facade there still is a a more authentic Parikia behind it. Sights here include the Church of Ekatontapliani (one of the most important churches of the Cyclades, if not Greece as a whole), the archeological museum and the adjacent Butterfly Valley. From Páros, one can easily set off for one of the other islands or explore the rest of the island. Náoussa is a also a fishing port with an interesting Venetian castle. Páros offers some interesting little towns and sightseeing spots, but the main reason for choosing this island is of course to spend some time on one of the beaches and indulge in wind surfing, scuba diving and horse riding after the exploration of cities such as Athens or Delphi.
